Does anybody else with an 07/08 hear what sounds like a hampster licking a water bottle noise coming from the vents while driving?

I'm about to let warrenty take care of it.

 

if you are under warranty, they'll hopefully find the hamster. It will get worse and it isn't the heater core....

 

Sounds like you have a leaf or some other trash in the vent system.

That may not be covered under warranty

 

I've heard of other members having the same problem with their 07, just hoping they would chime in...

I have an 08, and hear a ticking noise coming from the hatch. I have to pull the car over get out slam it shut and it will stop for awhile. As for ticking in the vents heard it once then was never bothered by it again.

 

yea it sounds like its coming from teh dash or something. its nothing cosmetic, I just remember other members talking about it, then i realized i here it every now and then when I have the radio off. (radio has nothing to do with it)
