Default 2003 coupe with 100k miles

Hey guys,

I have my eye on a 2003 coupe with 100k miles on the clock.
The service history is in order and the condition is very nice inside and out.

How are these cars after so many miles? What repairs can I expect?

Thnx

How about getting a 350Z before I get my first social security check.

thnx for the replies guys..

to give some more info.. i'm in the netherlands and the average price for a 40k miles 2003 is 20.000 euro here.. this car is the cheapest i can find at 15.200 euro.. the second cheapest is 19.500 so it's quite a bargain (:

also i can do most maintanance myself as it's a hobby of mine and i plan to put a new build engine in there in the near future so some wear on the engine is not really a problem...

Well if you are willing to put up with any problems that may come then i say go for it, but if your not then you going to be having problems. O, also a new built motor is going to run you around 10k so if that 2003 blows for w.e reason you going to wish you payed the 5k more on the lower milage Z.

If it hasn't "blown" after 100k, why would it blow at 130k?

OP - pay the $ to get a PPI, which includes a full analysis of the drivetrain and suspension. Included in that should also be a leakdown and compression test to confirm the health of the engine.

well if i buy a lower milage one that will also get a built engine as i want 500hp so that doesn't matter..

i will very probably install a coilover kit so worn shocks is not a problem either.. i'm only a bit worried about the gearbox, diff and things like motors and pumps but i know a good 350z specialized breaker where i can get all these parts used for nice prices and that combined with no labour costs for install (diy) i think saving that 5k euro (7.5k usd) for some more milage is a good deal..
