Default Short interval winter garaging advice!

I've read the numerous threads and posts on what to do to properly store your Z for 3 or more winter months. But I plan to not go for more than 2 week intervals before I at least start my '07 with 12k miles if not take it for a short drive. Southern New England winters are not that brutal. Besides keeping the tank full, are any other additives or preparations necesary? Thanks for any advice or recommendations!

Dude Its a car not a new born baby. Take the key out lock it up and walk away. Before you picked it up it sat on a lot for weeks if not months.

Thanks for your honest...albeit crass opinion..."dude"! Hmmm...I'll go out on the limb here and guess you are one of the younger members of this forum. I do have to take exeption to your statement referring to the Z as "a car, not a new born baby". It may not be a "new born baby" in the literal sense of course but my guess is that the majority of Z owners who made the huge and often times sacrificial investment to buy one love their cars and consider them no less than a family member....and yes...a "baby" that is very well taken care of and should be. If they didn't, why do you think there would be this much interest in this forum?

If you have the stock tires on your Z I wouldnt take it out when the temp is below 32 or you will be slipping and sliding. The stock tires are crap in cold weather (warm weather also)

if it sits for a week or longer, hook up a battery tender. I have one wired in that I plug in during the winter months, and I drive it every so often like you. The battery tender lets it crank over nice and strong even after sitting for a while.
