Default Rough idle

Rough idle common in these cars?

Any easy fixes? Fliuds?

I know the a/c button boost sthe rpms that gets rid of it.

What year is your car? What is the mileage? Do you have any check engine lights?

To answer your question, I do not believe a rough idle is inherent in these cars. There is usually something causing it. My old Z, a 2003 Track, always idled great when it was stock.

check for vaccum leaks, dirty throttle body, dirty air filter, etc. Vaccum leaks have caused me idle problems in the past.

Same exact thing. Rpms to low and causes the car to shake alittle. New intake, new belts, fluids. It's no big deal probably just curious. The a/c on fixes this problem tho.

'03-'04 were known to skip a bit at idle, even brand new/bone stock. Mine did it and I just got used to it. After plenum space/Popcharger'headers/hi-flow cats it still skips a tiny bit but I've gotten used to it.

Didn't the '04 and before have the ability to adjust the idle through CONSUL? Here is an idle stablization trick from JWT for "DECEL STABILITY". Check if this may apply to your issue.

Anyone experiencing the rough Idle also getting any CEL lights? I have a rough idle that is throwing a p0300 Random Multiple Misfire Code. Might try the JWT Decel trick for a cheap solution.

Solar, With a random misfire code I would check the ignition system (plugs and coils). A lightly fowled up plug could have issues at idle and clear its self up further up the rev-range. Did this start after a recent mod?

P0420 could be catalytic converter

Had the same code with an older car and it was the issue... Pretty expensive to replace unless you find aftermarket ones

Default Rough udle with cel light on bkinkcing as i drive

Ok been reading through the site I have yet to put on an obd2 engine code checker but my mph is like worse than a dodge pickup I am beginning to think it's my coil packs going bad and need reolacig along with spark plugs, it can't even do a burn out cause of the loss of power anyone can confirm my issue? New to this site and new to the cars I have , a 300 and 350.

Default Extreme rough idle

I i have a 2003 350z i just replaced vavke cover because they had a leak. I took upper and lower pleneum off to acess the valve covers and while it was apart also put in new coils and plugs then put everything back right and used all new gaskets even double and triple checked it go to start it and the idles so rough it sounds like it has a high performance cam but it wasnt doing it before any one know the issue?

Go back and check it again. Check all gaskets and hoses. You have a vacuum leak somewhere.
