He probly accidently mashed the axle Nut on a missed swing.

To clarify I dont think the axle was pushing into the differential since the flange would stop this and I think the cv joints would allow for some give. I think i'm most worried I hurt the cv on that side but there is no play at all and rotation seems smooth. Maybe I'm just hearing it now because I am listening so hard for it. On a side note my new pads are ceramic but i dont think that would do it.

I had some time today and took the wheel off. I readjusted the parking break but it still seems to be making the noise. Its sound like a "dirty bearing" thats the best way i can describe but when i turned the wheel by hand I could not reproduce it.
