Default Trunk is so fail...need help so bad

I bought the new shock things that hold the trunk up because I have a spoiler and it couldnt lift itself especially in the cold. Well now it does not list itself at all, because I only have one in place. This is because in the process on taking one off, you have to get the ball joint screw that goes into your trunk lid out of the old socket of the trunk shock. In this process one was completly bent and is now unusable. I need to find a new one somehow and would like someone to point me in the right direction, with a part # or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! I have to lift my trunk and hold it up myself right now, and you would not believe how heavy that **** is haha.

Oh I believe how heavy it is. When it is January and freezing and it hits you in the head! Difficult to believe that a 350Z member has not been killed or seriously injured - knock on wood.

go to the classifieds there are a few people parting out there cars go to courtesynissan.com get the part # that will help when explaining it. For the time being just use a broom stick to hold it up and becarefull not to put too much pressure because you will warp the other side since the pressure isnt balanced goodluck

At your local dealership. You can find out the part number from them as well.

Jay'Z, your answers have been so vague and ambiguous, and I think your doing it on purpose just to be a smart a$$. You think i have not searched?! I am asking you all because I cant find it in my searches. So thanks for the heads up, I will remember to search next time.

Blue, I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Who do I talk to at the dealership that would know how to look this part up?? I have tried before... I asked the main guy at the service desk when you drop off for oil change etc., but he said that they couldnt get it, and was very vague about his answer on where to look, and I was in a rush, and thought his advice would be helpful, but it was not, dead end. I guess I am just asking the wrong people, such as Jay'Z haha

And i have scoured through like courtesynissan.com and such and can not for the life of me find that little screw bolt with the ball.

I have used those in so many combinations and searches. well I'll be damned. You know how many people have not been able to help me? You deserve more than a thanks. You are the kind of person that really makes forums a place for learning and helping each other out. Thanks again man. I am putting in the order right now.:b owrofl:
