Do you think maybe the knock sensor having a problem is causing the other problem?

My thinking is that if the knock sensor is toast, then the bouncing and bogging would occur.
In the words of Chevy Chase, "Put a little butter on it". (that'll fix anything!)

haha thanks man so you think the knock sensor would cause the cylinder miss fire code because i had some guy today tell me that wouldnt cause the miss fire but he didnt seem like he really knew what he was talking about.

Misfires would make the knock sensor go off if it was missing really bad not vise versa. Usually u will see the knock sensor code by itself if it was going bad or sensed excessive detonation or pinging. How many miles are on it and have the plugs been changed?
