Default AC Pump issue. Suggestions?

Ok, so after searching the forum, its kind of hard to do a sear for "AC" lol... I can't really find something like this, so if you can, plz help out.

Here's what happens. When I press the AC button inside the cabin - both fans come on, start blowing air, I feel the RPM kick up a notch. Whats not happening- is pump turning on. So basically it still blows warm air.

If I connect +/- to battery and then connect the + directly to the pump wire, it does come on, and starts blowing cold air for as long as I'm holding it there.

Now what I'm wondering, is there a separate fuse or something for the pump? I checked all the connections (i think) and it seems that everything is connected... Any suggestions here on maybe a "common" issue like this one?

Help is appreciated, thank you.

Section ATC of the service manual has all the info you should need to find and fix the problem.

Yes I've looked at all diagrams etc etc, I'm at work right now, so all I can do before I get home and jack it up- is research. Thats why I'm doing all the research now, so when I get home, I only have about 4 hours, I can jack it up, and I'll know which places to look.

I'd really appreciate suggestions, or people that had similar problems (even if its something I already know). I know it can be pressure sensor, I know where it is, I know it can be the relay etc etc etc, but maybe someone had a similar problem and it was something else. Please post on here, I have to go on a roadtrip tomorrow for work, and it would REALLLY suck if I don't find it tonight.

Last resort, I'll end up running a + from wire harness to the compressor, and just leave ac on at all times or something...
