Sorry to say this but I thnk I'm gonna.......
trade in my base redline 03 for a tahoe z71. The thing that ticked me off is that I only had it for 7 months and as 11,000 miles on my car. and they only wanted to give me $22,500 trade in value when in the blue book it says $25,690 for trade in value. I had figured about $1000-$1500 off that would have been souding right do any of u know what they r going for real trade in value?
Have any off u traded in their z's yet?

I was just looking at 1 2002 Tahoe Z71 yesterday, I love it, but my bf thinks it is way too big for me, so looking at a DSM instead. Good luck with the new truck

There is no way anyone is going to take off only $1500 from the cost of a new car for 11K miles. If you look closely, and fill out only 500 mlies, it gives you a trade-in value of 27,200. I don't believe it's taking into account that it's a base model since you can buy a new one for that. Figure AT LEAST 3K for less than what the dealer will sell it for which will be at least 3K less than a new one, especially at 11K miles which is over the 12K annual average that's used in the calculation, and you're banking at about 21-22K so 22,500 actually doesn't sound bad. Sell it private party if you want more since yes, the dealers screw you on trade-ins.
