I just called Steven's Creek Nissan and they have advised me that I am the only one who has contacted them about my tires feathering for the second time. My tires have already been swapped and now are feathering once again. The Technician now states that it is a tire manufactuer problem and will look at the tires but will not replace my tires. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do now? Thanks in advance.

Had my front tires rotated for feathering and they did it again. Dealer called NNA and within the hour had new front tires approved. Took two weeks for tires to arrive and they are now installed. Wait and see time now.

Feathering two times? That implies it stopped.

I had the TSB performed in April. I went back with the same problem in October. Still waiting on tires. I guess that means feathering twice.

Yes, they told me that, they also told me to contact NNA myself to see what they want to do. My feathering came back just after 1000 miles, I will call NNA today and have them replace my tires even though I know this will not fix my issue.

 

Yup, 2nd time with feathering. Nissan does not know what to do for a fix. They are trying to tell me that it is happening because I don't rotate the tires. Even though it says you can't in the owners manual. They claim I have to pay for side to side tire swap ($150) every 6000 miles.

Only problem is after 6k miles my tires are ruined.
