Default battery or just plain out electrical problem?

I will tell the whole story from the start 2 years ago I stored my car for the winter and the truth is I kinda forgot and neglected to unhook my battery. next summer it was dead completly so I bought a new exide battery (the one for the car). At first it worked ok but still didn't roll the car very fast and now it always sounds like the starter is dragging. and if i leave the car sit for a week i can go out turn the key like 20 times and it wont do a thing then bang it will just start all my lights come on and stuff and when i turn th ekey they dim. i have tested the battery it tested go. do i just have a shitty battery or has anyone else heard of this problem. the car is a 04.5 touring

It might have to do with the car sitting in storage for so long. try starting it everyday for about a week, see if it gets better. I hope you changed the oil, and added some new gas. The gas may be part of the problem too.

Clean the battery terminals, and make sure the connections are tight.

Also check your battery cables entirely, I've had friends store cars for months and end up with animals in the bay, or had animals do a little destruction to some wiring
