Default A Few electrical questions

1) What is the blinking green light below the Steering Wheel? Is it factory security?
2) What is the shock sensor? Is it aftermarket?
3) In the fuse box, I'm missing some "FL50A/FL40A" fuses, I found something called "Female MAXI fuses" online, are these the ones?
4) Will the missing seat heater cause the power seats to not function? (I couldn't get my seatbelts out for this reason)
5) next to the throttle body is a screw hole... should I have something there?
6) Where exactly is the Diagnostic Sensor Unit? I took out the center console but am still unsure of where to look...

Thats from an after market alarm system. I assume you bought the car used, the alarm was ripped out by the previous owner.

yeah, the shock sensor, and the green light are from an aftermarket alarm of some type.

the VDC is only on some models, so you might not need it, what year/model is it?
but you can get those fuses at most auto part stores, so I wouldn't order online, just in case it's not right.

the slots in the bottom right of your fuse panel need ATM style fuses. I pretty sure you need it to get the power seats to work.

that screw hole is for the engine cover, which it appears you don't have, so nothing needs to go there.

hope that gets you somewhere on that.

It's the 2003/track, I don't think I have VDC as the slot looks like it fits the relay, and there is no 50amp slot for the VDC.

Also, what does 'cont' in "Engine Cont" stand for? I'm assuming I don't need the "A/T Cont" as the car is MT

and the answers were very helpful

eng cont I think is engine control(ecu or ignitor) and you"ll need that. but you wont need the A/T one.

your the one fixing up that salvage z, the seat heater fuse wont affect the seat belts, cuz mine doesnt have one and it works fine, your seat belt problem is probably because it was in an accident, im pretty sure these cars have that charge in the retractor that blows and locks the seat belt, so that might be your problem

The problem wasn't the seatbelt, it was my power seats not being able to move, keeping me from removing the piece between the trunk which sits on top of the other anchor bolt and pretensioner for the seat belts.

I'm picking up fuses today so we'll see where that takes us.
