driver side windoww
any body have any problems with their power window on the driver side? I think it's the switch but not sure

I had both power window actuators replaced. Problems started with the passenger windows rolling down after it reached the top. I had to lock it in the off position to keep it near the top until the replacement unit arrived.
The dealer told me the driver's side actuator quit working altogether the same day they were working on the passenger side. They were nice enough to yank one from another unsold Z that was in their yard and they installed it on my car, so I wouldn't have to be without my car (or with and open window) for a couple of days. I'd hate to be the buyer of the other car, but they went ahead and also did the grease track repair on both cars while they had the door panels off.

dropped my zeee off at the nissan repair dept for eval, nissan said they have to order a new motor they said the reset inside the panel was not working oh well i'm at their mercy. I hope to get my car back tomarrow.

I had a similar problem, took it to Performance Nissan, and they took care of it. They said the timing on the motor was offset, so they just re-adjusted it for me.

Last message on this issue , after being told the window motor was bad and needed to be replaced,after 3 days wiyhout my zeeee i picked up the car from amity nissan in amityville ny . WOW i regret it they scratched the inside door panel and scratched the inside of the door behind the door handle and left it that way. The service manager arthur told me they accept the damage to the door panel and will replace it.Oh thanks alot but not the door itself. Very sarcastic and unconcerned, Bad customer service guys, Why should i be upset? Having to waste more time off from work on the new car less than 6 months old. NOW WHAT NISSAN?Wake up it's the customers that keep YOU in business not you giving the customer the business.
