The problem is what you did is that you will never sell this car in canada. The gov wont let you know. The laws state ones the car falls under that category it will never be able to change ownerships. I am surpriced if they even give you a new sticker for plate.
Reason they passed this is guys would buy a crashed car fix it up and try to sell it as a normal used car.
Insurance comp is responcible for fixing your car to safe standerts and ones air bags go in ontario its an automatic right off cause they fear the frame might be damaged.
