Default Anyone use Motul 90PA for diff?

Does anyone here use Motul 90PA for their non LSD differential? Just wondering if it's ok to use it for our cars

I do, but I run a clutch diff. Why over pay for fluids when you don't have an LSD?

Motul 90PA is actually cheaper, it's like $17 for 2.1 quarts. That's mainly the reason i bought it... Others are like $15 per quart which would be $30 for 2 quarts..

So i'm ok to use it if i have no LSD?

I use Castrol Hypoy C 80W-90 in my VLSD and it works perfectly. It only costs $5 a quart and it's also mineral based. Why waste the extra dinero? I use 90PA on my S13 which has a Kaaz 2way clutch diff. It poured like molasses while changing it last night in the cold.

Whoa what in the world... i thought the ballpark of diff oils were like $15-20 per quart and was happy the Motul 90PA was $17 for 2... Looks like i need to do some more research next time

thanks for the heads up!

Yea, no real need for an expensive "boutique" oil unless you have a clutch diff. The most premium I would go for the oem diff is maybe Amsoil Severe Gear 80W-90 which is fully synthetic. Perhaps I will use it next time the diff needs changing. Gear oils can be run for a long time if it's only for DD use.
