Blegh...
Stealership called and said that when the tow truck dropped it off, they couldn't find any problems with it (WTF?!1!)...
...Told me to pick it up and take it again next time it breaks. So go by, they drive the car around and park it by the front for me to get in. When I get it it won't turn on. Does the same thing it did before.
...So they said they were going to keep it and they suspect it's the ECU and/or the gas pump.

So they got the car started and driving? I thought ive read that the car would even turn over, now im confused. Hopefully they find the problem. But man it's beginning to sound expensive.

I remember I had a similar with my talon tsi. It was sitting outside my house warming up when it shut off and would not turn over. All the lights would work aswell as the stereo. I spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong with it replacing parts and what not. Well it turned out being a busted wire running from the positive battery terminal. Soldered the wire back together, wrapped it up, and the car started just fine.

I have a similar issue on one of my 350Z's. I just parked it until I have the time and inclination to look into the issue.
I was only referring to what I browsed in an official Nissan Technical release regarding new ECUs and what a member here said when he did his auto to manual swap with a used ECU.
You may be correct. IDK

The bcm n keys have to match.. The ecu gets its signal from the bcm... No signal no start..
Its in the fsm, and something we are currently dealing with on our s14 project.. I have a Guy that can reprogram the bcm but jus haven't had the time...
If I'm wrong I'm wrong but, we've tried everything else...
I'm definitely interested in the out come..
OP u said u had it towed to the dealer n it started n ran for them? then u picked it up n its dead again?

Then they called me and told me that they ran tests, and everything seemed ok. They told me to pick it up and let them know when it happened again.
I went by, and they drove it around to the front. He parked it, shut it off and came handed me the keys.
We talked for a few minutes then when I went to go start up the car, it would do the same thing that it was doing back at home.
It just wouldn't turn on, all lights came on but nothing else. It wouldn't crank either.
They said they would keep it and try to figure itout.

I been thinking about the crank shaft position sensor... But I jus thought of something stupid . You have an auto... If the car is in gear the results your getting would be typical... Even if the selector looks like its in park it might not be.. Try putting it in neutral or turn the ignition while running it through all the selections.. If the switch that prevents you from starting the car in gear is faulty the car could be thinking its in gear Wen its not.. Wen the Guy towed the car he had to shift it into neutral to move it... Make sure u push the selector all the way forward... I bet that's the issue.... I hope you followed my rant....lolz lemme kno.....
