Default fuel tank issue, maybe TSB related?

I have been having issues in the past few months, where I will fill up, drive to 1/4th of a tank, and as soon as i hit 1/4th the gauge will go down to E in a matter of 3-4 minutes of driving. I've turned the car off then on again and the miles left meter reads ~100, and then will go to ----, like the sensor is being tricked or something.

Tonight I tested my theory of thinking that I actually had a 1/4th of a tank left and my sensor was messed up.... I was wrong. I ran out of gas on the highway and had to have someone bring me some gas. I put in about 1 gallon and drove to the gas station. I proceeded to put in 13 gallons... The car wouldnt take anymore, the cap overflowed. I thought this car had a 20 gallon tank, so what the hell is going on? I turn the car on after I put in 13 gallons and the car reads 370~ miles till empty, and its past the full line on the gauge, what gives?

Any ideas? I was thinking it was related to the TSB about the tank not filling up all the way, but if that was the case wouldnt my gauge read half or something NOT full?

I fixed this fuel fill issue. Go in the DIY section on how to clean this and fix the issue.
