Default My VQ35 is Actualy crazy...help

i start my engine, and it start fine..idels fine a little high for like 2-3 seconds (like 1100 ish) then as it moves its way to normal idle it slowly and camly dies.

when i start it and put the clutch out, it the RPM drop very quickly then it stalls (no im not in gear)

when i WOT, its like my rev limiter is at like 2600..it wont go past 3000 and its bouncing all over the place.

the only way i can keep it from stalling is by giving it a bit of gas, and its bouncing up and down revs and its not very responsive to throtle inputs, ill go WOT and it will just stay bounding at like 1200-1900 RPM

my VQ35 is acting CRAZY

**some info that might help**

-Ok...so i got in an accident in october...but engine was completly FINE...i could still drive it and everything and it pulled hard.
(only for like a min or less cuz it didnt have radiator just checking driveability and any other damage)

-its been in my garage since then, it has no radiator, so i would start it once or 2 times a week for only on min or less just to get things moving
or i would start it for a min, stop it let it sit for 30 mins then start it again
and it was fine.

-has had a quarter tank of gas since crash

now the only thin i did since starting it a few days ago (when it was fine)

-was play around with the positioning of cold air intake
-put my fileter on the Cold air intake ( i know dont hate me)

and this is why i think it might be messed but remove my BLOWN PASSENGER airbag

thanks any ideas, it seems like an electronic problem or bad injector or spark plug im not sure

any help would be amazing

thanks
jeff

Driving the car for a minute without the radiator and doing a hard pull probably did bad things to the engine. Sounds like it's gone into the limp mode to protect itself from more abuse.

It's more likely that the air bag activation put the car in limp mode.

nah, i did one hard pull a week after crash to check other damage, and it wasnt even 100%, just checking to see if things were ok.

Im thinking if it takes like 8-10 mins at idle to warm up with radiator, 1 min at Idle wont do any harm as long as oil system is working

im thinking its the airbag.
but it its having trouble starting now.
and i tried to start it and it would roll over and it would seem to start a little...like 400 RPM, then a once it kicks a huge cloud of black smoke comes out

**Thanks guys for your reply**

so what exactly got damaged in your accident? your best bet is to use a diagnostic scanner first and see if codes come up

try this. saw it on tv:

thanks for your help, one of the better responses instead of smartass ones lol
umm, like everyhting in the front, but the engine was untouched, its a new symptom

it happend like 2 months after crash. im thinking its electronic problem, such as bad plug due to running lean or rich or whatever, just not right lol

im goign to invest in one of those computers,
i was thinking of the cobb access port, i can check codes...AND tune

Pulling a code is something you can do yourself and saves all of the guess work as well as a car sitting idle in a garage.
