Default Car jerks

i'm having an issue with my 07 Z. while slowing down either for a light or to make a turn my car starts to jerk when i start accelerating (1st, 2nd and 3rd gear) i dropped a bottle of fuel system cleaner and it was gone for a week then went right back to jerking so i dropped another bottle and this time it didnt work at all. has anyone experienced this issue and know what is wrong? btw is a 6mt with 41k miles. thanks.

it jerks pretty hard sometimes i try to adjust and let the pedal go so it stops shaking. happens all the time.

it doesnt jerk thru all three gears, but just from which ever gear im accelarating from. 1st gear from a red light and 2nd or 3rd from turns or rolling slow i.e. at a parking lot

the car is shaking because you are a internet poser

but seriously go to a autoparts store and have them scan for a code. If your car is jerking as bad a you say it will throw a code but not necessarily a cel light.

Try to narrow down if it is in a certain RPM range. If so, there is actually an exhaust valve issue that I had to go through hell to get the dealer to resolve. It doesn't show a code or anything, is sort of intermittent, but is DEFINITELY a problem.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I think im having the same issue. I have an automatic Z. My car doesnt jerk really hard but it jerks hard enough for me to notice it. It never happens comming from a dead stop, neither does it happen in all of the other gears.
It happens like this, If you were to slow down so the car goes into first gear while still moving and then hits the accelerator pedal to go faster, the car will do a hard transition from 1st gear to second gear. The jerk forward is because of a lag where you suddenly hit the gas pedal and the rpm shoots ahead of the transmission and the transmission has to act fast to catch up the rpm. I hope that makes sense, but that is what I've been noticing with my car as well. No one seems to have an on point solution so I just go easy on the gas pedal for a smoother shift from first gear to second gear.

Check out this thread, the way you are describing it kind of sounds like post #6 and onwards (I have an 07 also and mine does it from time to time so I think have an idea of what your trying to explain). https://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/3078...g-warm-up.html

it happens on low rpm between 1k to 2k. was your issue cover under warranty?

sounds like the same issue and i also tried to ease up on the pedal but still does it. its getting annoying *** hell. i had 04 G-coupe 6mt before and never experienced this jerk, can it be something in the hr engines?

no slip at all, is almost like the car chokes then comes back alive then chokes and back to life, very close to what it feels when someone is learning to drive stick and they jerk the car

Bumping this thread. I have a 08 HR 6MT, when im slowing down over a hump and im still in second gear i lightly press the accelator and then i my car jolts. I suspect this because my car is choking at really low rpms (0-1.5k) , is this just the nature of the car ? Or is there something wrong?
