Default Problem with the oil pressure gauge! Plz help!

Hey everyone I am in serious need of some advice! I recently got an oil change about a week ago...

... but this problem started about 2 days ago.

When I drive my Oil gauge on the dash passes 120 psi!! its at the very end of the gauge even when I leave the car off for a while! Do I need to add oil? Is there a leak?? What should I do?

also.. is it safe to drive it with it like this? The c/h gauge is normal

please help... its an 05 automatic 350 z

At the top of the page you are currently looking at, navigate to DISCUSSION FORUMS --> 350Z TECH FORUMS --> Engine & Drivetrain. Once you arrive on that page, click on the search button, very visible in the upper right hand corner of the forum (placed there for your convenience). Search for "oil pressure gauge problem" without the quotes. It seems that Dr.Tub has done this before you, as have many, many, many, many others. Please join them.

Not certain if oil pressure is 120 PSI or the sensor is giving you a false reading. Do you feel comfortable driving the car?

The point was that as this site has obviously been around since before the 350Z came out, this question has been asked and answered innumerable times. This was pointed out to you and rather than exploring and finding the answers to your query, you chose instead to ask additional questions about the problem that has been asked and answered many times.

But you're special. Since you're special I'll search for you. Here you go:

this thread shows you where it is

you can get it here

here are a couple (of the hundreds) who had your problem.

dont drive the car...think about that for a second..jesus christ...do some damn research instead of looking to be spoon fed...it is near the oil filter and screws into the block on one side and a clip on the other side for a connector...RESEARCH

if u think 120+psi of oil pressure is good then go right ahead see how that goes..
