Default Creaking/Clicking Noise Help

Guys, my car has been making some weird creaking/clicking metal noises which appear to come from the rear of the car. Even when I try to get out of the car, I hear the same noise sometimes. Mostly it only happens when I drive in a really slow speed and stuff.

Also if I go to the back of my car and push the trunk or the rear fender down and make the car bounce, I hear the same noise again and again. Almost feels like the it's the springs/shocks that are making the noise, but I am not sure.

Anyone else had this problem? Know what it is? Possible fix? Please help cause this noise has been driving me crazy!

Thanks

2 things, z's are rather noisy cars.... And it may be the infamous axel clicking you are hearing from rear right wheel, like a bearing is shooting down a rod and hitting metal?

There is a TSB for it, but only require greasing hub....had it for years, never bothered w fixing it....so its up to you if thats your issue w noise?

It's a 2003 with 42K miles on it so it hasn't been driven much at all. The noise is really hard to explain. It's like a metal creak sort of. Only happens when the the car is sort of bouncy or I take turns in slower speeds. Like I said it comes from the rear from what it sounds like. Even when I go at the back of the car and push the trunk down and make the car sort of 'bouncy' I hear it.

I would like to get it fixed but I dont even know what exactly is the problem and what part to replace. I know it's a noisy car but this never used to happen before. Please some one help me figure out what this is cause its driving me nuts!

Axle click... there's a TSB, at the dealer it's ~$500 job out of warranty, $0 in warranty. Basically you have to rebuild/repack the axles -- had mine done around 40k mi.

creaking? Try replacing the end links on the sway bar.

Mine used to creak like a rusty hinge.

any updates? Mine has started this noise as well. I noticed when I jack the car up on one side with the factory jack, the other side "pop"s once or twice, sigh.....

No updates...still trying to figure out what it could be. Found a couple threads on google saying it could be a couple of things.

Try doing a google search it comes up with a couple of possibilities all over the map.
