Default Burning my clutch???

hey guys,

so about 2 months ago i bought an 06 z with 43K miles on it

after about a month my dad noticed that my clutch was slipping
so once he showed me what that was i was aware of it because ive been driving manual cars for about a year...

its been about 3 weeks now and my clutch is ****! ( doesnt catch etc.)

SOOO i was wondering is it me? i know theres no really way to tell because your not actually driving with me but still....sometimes and by sometimes i mean about 5-6 times ive miss shifted when trying to kill it

ive had an s2k i drove for about 5 months no clutch problems at all...
but with this it just went to ****....i down shift ..rev match.. and shift perfectly like the car was auto... except some minor over revs when trying to punch through the gears fast ....

i feel like i inherited a clutch that was going bad
is there anything i could be doing wrong????

Doubt if it is a driver problem. Drag racers abuse the clutch with high RPM starts. This high torque start technique will shorten clutch life.

BTW if you are getting a new clutch inspect the flywheel.

but these starts are in first gear so it's not as much abuse as missing a shift going into fourth and then dumping it trying to get it into fourth with the rpms still high.

If the clutch hydraulic system is not adjusted correctly or bad. It could cause slipping.

i think its the previous driver .....ill be honest tho...when i noticed what a slip was and noticed it was slippy i didnt really go easy on it... i mean i wasnt beating the hell out of it .... sometimes i miss shift when i try to punch through the gears sometimes bc im still new at accelerating fast with a manual but how fast its gone to hell....cant be me.... i think the high rpms i was STILL running at sometimes just ruined the pressure plate etc.

im racking it monday and having the gear heads at my dads place tell me what it is....

but i was thinking...since i need a new clutch...i guess this is an opportunity to get an aftermarket one.....what are some suggestions as to what i should get apposed to an OEM nissan clutch...

and thanks for helping me out guys...

The Z is a fatty put her on a diet with the JWT combo. Also an S2K manual is like a civic si manual, buttery smooth like a knife through warm butter. The Z takes some time to get used to. Its more like a knife in chunky peanut butter.
