Dead battery?
I barley drive my car since it is my joy ride. I believe my battery is dead so i got a battery charger and when i plug in now for 4 hours its at 50% and it seems like there is a metal smell coming out of the charge is that normal?

Uh, no. Probably a bad cell, and if so only fix .... new battery
