Default Brake, VDC off and slip light on

Like the title says they come on randomly. Could be right when I turn on my car or 15 min later and then stay on. And some times the brake light will turn off while the other 2 lights stay on. Last time this happened it was because I had to change my brake pads. But all pads are good, brake fluid at a good level and all my fuses are good. So if anyone could tell me some the things to check that would be perfect. I have a 2003 with 83000 miles if that matters

Try checking the abs system for error codes.

Mine through the code for the abs pressure switch, but it turned out to be a worn $35 brake light switch under the brake pedal which was causing my VDC, ABS, and SLIP lights.

Other reasons could be a ABS wheel sensor out of alignment or failing.

I would have suggested exactly what you already did, brake fluid level. Exact same issue for me when my fluid was low due to worn pads. The fluid was only slightly low, so it's pretty picky, I made sure it was filled near the Max line. Lights never came back on.

I had the same issue and it eneded up being the cam angle sensors and crank sensor. I took the car to the stealership for a diagnostic (75.00) and they gave me a print out of the findings. I went and bought the sensors and put them on myself... ualaahhh.. no more lights!!
