My Rear View Mirror broke (best way to repair it)
What's going on Z-peeps?
So I went to adjust the rear view mirror in my '03 350Z this morning only to have the thing snap off right at the cover (It's the stalk that holds the actual mirror in place- 96328 in this diagram: http://bit.ly/iQSHwe ).
After dispensing a sailor amount of colourful language regarding Nissan's stellar quality control, I started to formulate the best way to go about repairing the stupid thing. I was thinking of simply gluing the mirror back onto the "cover" or stalk but I don't want it to fall off a few months down the line. Alternatively, the parts are only about $60 so replacing the entire unit isn't outside the realm of possibility for me.
WWYGD? What would you guys do?

depends:
you can do what terra suggest and buy a new one or replacement
If It were me I would take the oppurtunity (Im an optimistic person) and do this:
https://my350z.com/forum/body-interi...2005-base.html
or take it a step further and do this:
