Just bought an 07 automatic. Shift indicator letters do not light up at all.
No fuses blown.
Removed the shift plate, but didn't see anything. And nothing online or in the SM's say anything about how to get @ the bulb underneath the shift module.
Anyone ever have/fix this prob? I don't wanna have to pay the stealership for something like this.

This parts diagram shows the bulb under the shift indicator.

Seems like you should be able to replace it after getting to where you are.

I'm just wondering if there's any tutorial or how-to on how to actually get under there and remove the upper module.
Awful lot of tiny little parts my gorilla mitts could easily break not knowing what I'm doing.
