Default Replacing my master/slave cylinder

Lately, I have noticed that when engaging my cluth, the first 1/4th of the clutch is completely useless. Also, the clutch will not fully pop back up when it is disengaged. I would say 80 percent of the time, the cluth performs normally. I had the car checked out and was told I needed a new master slave cylinder. The total with labor is $550. When I repetitively pump the clutch, the problem goes away and the clutch stays strong. Any advice on whether I should replace the master slave cylinder or just deal with it? I'm sure this has happened to others. By the way, the car is a 2006 base 350z with 45000 miles.

^The clutch line is inexpensive so I recommend you do that when the fluid is flushed.

If you searched, you'd have found quite a bit of information on this subject. It's a common issue for the master cylinder to have crap built up inside it and it simply needs cleaned out. I'm actually about to do mine tomorrow; I may write up a DIY if I don't find one for it before then.
