Default Window Lift Motor

This is not my first time replacing the drivers side window lift motor. I have successfully done it with no problems about a year ago, and now its out again. I replaced it today with no issues and when I hooked the battery back up and tested it...it would only roll up halfway. I do NOT think this has anything to do with the relearn procedure. It kind of creeps to a stop at half way up. It does this whether you are using the AutoUp feature or not.

The window goes back down fine. But when you roll it up, it creeps to a stop halfway like the motor has run out of gas. In fact, once it reaches halfway up, it does the "pop down thing" like when you go to open the door. I assume that I have a bad reman motor and need to get another one. But I wanted to know if anyone has seen this and what they did to remedy the situation.

Thanks guys!

I'd say either a bad new motor, or your regulator is having problems

I tried another new motor today with no success. Now the window will not go up at all. The motor tries for a brief second, and then quits. I dont know what the hell to do. And thanks to the wonderful design Nissan came up with, I cant visibly inspect the assembly in action because you have to have the metal plate bolted back up in order for the window to be on track.

Any other thoughts guys? Could the cable spool next to the motor be bound up or something??

it needs to be aligned correctly. If not, it may not roll up at all, or not go all the way up.

^^+1^^

You'll need to realign the glass inside the rails. It is binding half way.
