Default knock sensor code and just replaced

okay so i had a code for a knock sensor so i bought a new one and replaced it and erased the code drove it for mayb 100 to 200 miles and the code pops again..of what i know there is no knock in the engine i asked around and they say that if the tranny making noises that it could also trigger that..
if anybody knows plz help me out its driving me nuts thanks..!

You need to replace the knock sensor harness. I think its like $85. I was getting the same code and replaced just the harness and have been fine ever since.

The insulation on the knock sensor harness deteriorates and shorts out the wire. It will come with a new injector harness as well.

As stated many times on the forums, change the harness first as it's pretty rare the sensor is bad. z1 started selling the harness by itself which is awesome..in the past you had to buy the whole fuel injection harness kit
