Oil Pressure
Hey guys,
I searched and didn't find what I was looking for..
I have an 07 and I noticed that when I start the car the oil pressure is somewhat high and when I start driving, the gauge goes all the way to 120. As the engine starts to warm up, it drops below which I assume is 30. I was told that if it drops below 60, I have a problem. I just wanted to check and make sure I'm not driving my car to death. I have no check engine lights or any signs while driving that something is wrong.
Any info would be great.
On a side note, I went to a Nissan stealership to have my car completely inspected but when the guy asked me if my Nismo was an 09', I just left.

Acording to the FSM at idle with engine warm oil pressure should be 14 psi
Mine gets to 10 on REALLY hot days when I'm hard on her.
EDIT: Just realized this is in the HR section, I found it on the homepage in recent threads. So Ignore what I said, That is for a DE

The factory oil pressure gauge is worthless. I would pay very little attention to it. If your oil pressure LIGHT comes on, that's located in your normal gauge cluster area, then you should be worried and have it checked out.
