car has no power
my car was in the shop for over 3 months. nissan could not find what is wrong with it. they put in a rebuilt trans, took out my jwt clutch pressure plate and fly wheel. This was put back in after it did not solve the problem. they replaced mass airflow sensor, modual to the abs, rear left abs sensor, new spark plugs, fuel system cleaned and drained twice. took off and put back on my 20 inch tires. they thought the size and difference in tires would have been the problem but it was not. after 3 months they told me they do not know what to do with it and to take it to a speed shop and have the ecu redone. I did research on this site and thought the knox sensor and wire was the problem. so i took it in to be replaced, and all that did was cost me $710.00. did not fix the problem. Nissan also put in a stock air filter and took out my k&n. they told me thats why the mass air flow sensor went.
The problem is on cold start ups and on damp rainy days, the car has no power after 35-4000 rpms. when its warm it runs great. when its wet and rainy or cold, the car does not gain power. any input would be helpful. im not sure where to go from here. i have more information to offer if anyone has questions.
thanks for any and all help.

Sorry about the headache. If Nissan has the car and cannot fix it, doubt if I can fix it long distance.
Caution about tuning the ECU. Tuning is designed to improve performance of a 350Z running properly. It is not designed to fix a motor.

okay thank you .
I have a body kit, 20 inch wheels and led tale lights in the back, and the jwt set up on it.
last fall i tore my back bumper off and the car sat all winter. i started it every week and let it run like ten mins. the problem started in spring this year.
i was taking it to the body shop because of the tore bumper and thought my cluch was going as well.so when i got it back from the body shop i took it to the trans shope and got the jwt set up put in. picked it up and it was still doing the same thing .i took it to the dealer and they told me it was the clutch and that it wasnt compatible with the car to nissan specs. so i told them to put the clutch pressure plate and fly wheel in it. If this did not fix it they would have to put my original jwt back in it and thats what they did. it did not fix it. next they told me it was my k&n filter. they put factory 1 in and this still did not fix it. then they told me my mass air flow sensor was bad and this still did not fix it. then they went onto my 20 in wheels and said that the revolutions were throwing it off. so I told them to put stock rims on it. after they did this it did not fix it. then they said my modual was bad to the abs and to the traction control so they replaced that. after that I got a slip light saying the back left wheel sensor was bad. replaced that. still did not fix it. they gave the car back to me and said no codes came up and that nissan tech couldnt find anything wrong but they could feel it. thats when i got onto this site and read about. the knox sensor and wire. A lot of those problems seemed to be what I had. so I took it back to nissan and had the knox sensor and wire put in. still no difference.

so you think that would only do it on cold and damp days . i was just out in the car and the power was not there but was during the day. the temp during the day was mid 80's temp during the night was in the 70's.

Sounds like you got some work done on the car....the dealer had a blast with you, all that **** aint cheap.
I don't know if a lot of that stuff would cause the car to run that poorly....
How is the car running on regular days and when the car is warm? What does the obd say when they hook it up?
Mileage?

mileage is 84,000. 1 good thing is that I had a warranty. most was covered by that. if its hot out the car runs good. if its cold out like 70's and below or rainy it gets to 4000 rpms and climbs slowly. on the hot days it takes a bout 5 minutes and it runs great. the obd2 read knox sensor and i replaced that. now when i hook it up it says that I have an oxygen sensor out but that didnt come up the first time i tested it.

i was just out and had the car running. the fan did not go on. i let the car run 10 minutes. the fan did not go on and the car did not get hot.i dont know if this is anything, but as i was letting the car run...i was looking in the air box and making sure nothing was blocking the airway. when i put my hand in the air box. it choked the car out.
