Default Power Steering Issues

Just 2 days ago My steering wheel started to get a bit tight on and off while turning. Today it is now Hard to turn all the time, Especially at low speeds. It's just extremely tight and a struggle to turn. I know it has something to do with the power steering system and components, I just don't know which one. I've checked the power steering fluid and it's still a transparent pink color and I'm not hearing any whining coming from the pump at anytime. Do you guys know of any possible other reasons the steering wheel becomes difficult to turn?

The Belt Hasn't been changed In a While. Would that be a possible issue?

The belt could be slipping, and that would cause the problem. You'd probably hear it squealing, though. Low fluid and belt issues are the most common problems, but there are lots of other possibilities.

What year and mileage? Ever been wrecked?

^ lol.. there could be many reasons it would be difficult to turn. for example, when i installed my headers, they were touching my steering shaft and would only turn a good 25% until it hit like a bump and then wouldnt turn at all..

LoL It's still completely stock. Its like that struggle to have when you try to steer the car when it's off.
