Default Got hit again!!! Please help!!!

Well i got hit again. Im getting my bumper cover replaced as the one side got hit.. How the other side got hit and need some help. Im not worried about the scrapes on the bumper cover as they are getting replaced. What i am worried about is the space right above the bumper cover..

What i want to know is can a good auto body shop get this out without repainting? If not how much do you think it will coast to repaint?

If someone else hit you, then their insurance should be the one paying for it, and it shouldn't matter to you, right?

Default Buffing

If the paint is scratched but the metal is not dented you might be able to just rub/buff it out. It sort of depends on how bad the scratches are how picky you are about the results.

My wife's PT Cruiser got hit with similar looking damage. I was able to buff it out so that it is barely noticable. If I didn't point it out to you I don't think you would see it. On the other hand if you looked for it you could find the damaged spot.

If you are not handy with bodywork ask a shop. They can tell you if it can be buffed out or not and they can even do the work. Buffing will be cheaper than repainting the whole section if that is an option.

Good luck.

I had similar damage to my Z, almost exactly the same. Estimates were between 1150 and 1350.

I'm sure that'll have to be painted. Your insurance should cover it without increasing your rates, since it was parked.

Bummer, sorry.

Really sucks when you dont know who hit it. ******** out there! If your panel is dented bad it should be repaired. It doesnt look badly damaged. You should get it buffed out and see how it looks.
