No, you need a new sensor. They are sealed units. There's nothing to replace in them. Plus, you have the problem of figuring out which one is out.

Next time the light comes on, look on the triple meter (computer display) and find the tire pressure readings. One (or more) will read "--" meaning that it's not getting a pressure from that sensor. Don't forget that there are two screens for pressure, use the bottom switch to toggle between Front and Rear. The top number should be the passenger side pressure, the bottom should be driver side.

Take it to your dealer and get them to replace the sensor and re-program the new one to the car.

They're not talking **** to you. They were trying to tell you that you have a bad sensor. It doesn't matter than it's a battery problem or dead sensor.

Actually it will come on in exactly 31 miles if it's bad or they aren't there.

Nobody's talking ****, although I agree that Dave is an expert on various topics, including this one. I told you what the source of your problem was already; you just failed/neglected to read what was posted. In fact, it was the 1st reply to your thread, not to mention you could've answered your own question by taking a few minutes to research instead of spending those minutes to create this thread then incessantly repeat that your tire pressure is fine when it was said multiple times that tire pressure isn't the only cause.

Logically speaking, there's no way any of us would know which sensor has gone bad based on your description of "the light is on," but I digress. Again with the not reading...

edit - you can see it on the older models, 03-06
Worst case scenario, you take it to the dealer or a tire shop and have them use a tool to let you know which TPMS is faulty (this still only works if the light has been tripped, which is an indication of a bad TPMS, because if the light wasn't on then the TPMS is supposedly working fine).

The factory provided black tape fell off. Got pick up another strip and place it over the light. Then there is no light looking at you. =D

No my bad. I've had a few beers after work and people have been dealing with this since 2003.

Well back to the light just to be clear.
It does turn on after I've driven 25-30 miles.
It turns off once I turn off the car, drive 30 miles or so. Comes back on.
I start the car, no light on..

If you're not going to read, just stop posting altogether, please. Much like your other questions you keep asking despite the fact that they have already been addressed, Dave already answered your question.

Once that happens, the CPU loses the signal and the warning light comes on. Initially, you may have to drive around for 30, 45, 60 minutes or more. Eventually the time before it fails will get shorter and shorter, maybe 10-15 minutes. If you park the car for a short time, you can drive it and the light won't come on again until the battery power drops.

Trust me on this one. I just changed a sensor for this very reason. They are designed with a battery life of about 7 years. Your 05 is probably on it 6th or 7th year of use.

BTW - note that nowhere in that explanation did I mention correct tire pressure. It has nothing to do with the problem.
^ You can replace "park the car" with "shut off the car" and it'll still apply. You can also replace "minutes" with "miles" and it'll still apply.

I bet they're Enkei replicas. No, you need more blinker fluid.
