I need your help guys. I was on the freeway and out of nowhere,
my battery and brake light both turned on and my steering wheel wouldn't turn.
I checked all the fluids and they are all filled up.

Do anyone know what could be the problem?

by any chance could a missing drive belt cause the malfunction of my steering wheel and the lights to come on?

 

Missing belt? Not sure if serious.

Of course it's the problem. If you're not driving the alternator, the Battery light will come on. If the Steering wheel is hard ot turn, it's because of the power steering pump not be driven. Not sure why that would make the Brake light come on but my guess it's all related.

 

How did you fix the problem?
