oil leak... help please!!!
after my second oil change since i bought my 03 touring 6mt i noticed leaks on my drive way and i know none of my cars leaked before. so i got under the car and cleaned the whole bottom oil pan and filter to detect the leak. following day i saw drops again so i went under the car and saw that the leak seems to be coming from the hose right next to the place where the oil filter screws on to. any ideas? do i just replace that hose?
thanks guys

It can't be the hose but it could be the oil cooler (that's what the hose is connected to). You can take the filter off and make sure the stud that the filter screws onto is tight. It is what holds the oil cooler to the block.
BTW - that hose carries water from the cooling system, so if it was leaking, you wouldn't see oil.

I have a similar leak.
From what I've found, there is a common leak that is caused by a deteriorating O-ring between the oil cooler and the oil pan.
I just bought the new o-ring at the dealership on friday, the service parts guy said they sell a lot of those O rings, common cause of oil leaks.
