I started up the car this morning and whn i wanted to roll the window down i kept hearing a click and my window wouldnt roll down..i put the window lock on and it didnt hear a click at all. then i took off the window lock and kept hearing a click but it wouldnt roll down...

10 minutes into my ride if finally rolled down and rolled up with no problem..Just wondering if my window motor is a`bout 2 blow

 

Yes, your window motor is done for. Order a refurbished one at your local auto parts store and turn in your old one. There's a DIY on this site as well as other sites which explain how to take apart your door panel and replace the motor. Don't forget to do the window motor reset once you replace the motor. This is an easy 2 person job.

 

i just changed my passanger side window motor on 08 z mine was clicking and worked a few more times and then just didnt work anymore. seems to be a common problem with the z

 

yes ,mine is an 08 also...That's kinda bad that these cars motors blow out when its still damn near new...I guess because all of the up and down it does when openning and closing the door.

I think my car is still under warranty..will Nissian replace it for free or should i just go straight to buying a new/used one
