Motor Swap Issues -
I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section. If not, please move accordingly - thanks.
We put a fresh DE in my buddy's '03 350Z. It cranks, but did not fire. All the sensors are hooked up from what we can see, and there are two SES codes: P1564 and P0462. From my research, these two codes don't have anything to do with the car cranking.
Is there anything specifically that we should be looking for? The grounds appear to be all hooked up.
Any suggestions or tips on this?
Thanks
Moncef F

Step 1, can you breathe? Air is taken care of
Step 2, Pull a plug reconnect to coil and crank, does it zap you (jk) touch it to ground and does it spark?
Step 3 Since fuel is the hard one to see without pulling part most of the motor, Doing the other 2 first you've now narrowed it down to fuel most likely
Hope that helps. Also, Take intake off, put car in 1st or drive, and step on gas and see if throttle blade moves
