Hi all,

When I first bought my 07 about 8k miles ago, I went through the sync process with my iphone 3gs and it worked perfect. I had no problems for a few months and it would find my phone and sync like it should when I got in the car.

Then it just stopped syncing one day. I didn't change anything or do anything different (same phone, still no audio upgrades of any kind). Now when I try to sync my phone and go through the whole pairing process, everything works initially and I can make a call and such. Then I shut the car off and when I come back, its forgotten everything. Is there anyway to reset the bluetooth or do I have to reset the whole ECU? Can I just take the leads off the battery to do this or do I have to do the weird gas pedal thing?

Couldn't find anything similar searching....anyone heard of this issue???

 

I'd blame the phone before I blame the car. Have you tried syncing another phone to your system to see if it works?

 

sounds more like a phone problem than anything.

Ok I messed with it again, still doing it. I paired the phone, made a call, all is fine. I then shut the car off and wait a min, turn it on again and when I hit phone it says "no phone is paired..." My iPhone still remembers that it has that device saved but the car forgets the phone.

What should I try now?
