Hey guys, my AC went to s h it a few days ago...my high pressure hose burst leaving a nasty mess under my hood. My local mechanic replaced the bad hose but ran into another problem! The mechanic thinks its the expansion valve since it wasn't letting pressure go through on the vacuum process? So this is where it got complicated, the valve is located somewhere inside the dash. So Im gonna give the dealer warranty a try. We went ahead and installed the bad hose back in place for the dealer to see it. So hopefully they dont give me some bs excuse and not fix it.

Worse case scenario if the dealer acts stupid,my local mechanic can fix it. However I cant find an AC diagram that actually shows the stupid valve. Any help on how to replace it I would really appreciated, / Sam

I think mine has gone bad as well but didn't experience any hose bursting Believe it is attached to the heater core or condenser directly behind the radio under the dash. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
