Default Chattery Transmission Got Worse?

Last night I was driving my car a bit more aggressively (shifting at around 6 and doing some moderate launches) and I noticed after I stopped and was pulling my car in that the chattery transmission noise seemed to be noticeably louder.. I don't know if this is normal or not and just wanted to get some opinions from other members before taking the car in if needed.

P.S. I haven't driven the car today but will see if the noise is there when I

P.P.S FAIL idk why I posted this in the Nismo section.. my bad

I noticed that last night on my car when driving for a long time and at idle. It went away the same night when it idled a bit. Not sure what eh cause is. Could be the throwout bearing.

Hows the fluid level? Also Might be due for a fluid change.

Dual mass on the flywheel was probably hot and slightly looser. The Z is not a drag car

+1 on the maintenance checks. Like I said before, I noticed that same noise on my Z and it's sitting here at 6379 miles. I only notice it when the engine is a bit hot after even normal driving. The next day it's gone. If your throwout bearing is shot, you would most likely hear that noise when you let off the clutch pedal at the time you depress the clutch. You notice that the sound disappears when you hold it in right? If it's not that, I'm pretty sure it's the dual mass setup. As long as your gears are shifting with ease and the clutch is also working well, I wouldn't worry about. It's a SPORTS CAR, not a mercedes. It would be worse if we all were running dog boxes for transmissions. Good luck.

Your hair is weighting down the car making the clutch and flywheel working harder than it should.

Thanks again for the good responses. I'm going to try to get it into Nissan sometime to get some fluids checked and the bearing that you mentioned. Like you said, it is a sports car so I know that they are meant to take a beating to some extent and to have fun with it - while being safe

Be VERY WARY of stealerships bro. I would recommend that you go ahead and change your clutch fluid every 10k or every year imho. I prefer the Motul RBF 600 and while your down there, you might as well upgrade to a ss clutch line when you flush and bleed the clutch. Good luck.
