Default Air bag/ after market steering wheel question car won't start

Sooo I installed an nrg hub and qr and now my car won't start. It's throwing nats codes as well as the flashing air bag light(I don't care about the light) I have a few questions, how/ why did this happen(nats) and how can I fix it? I think it's p1614 or possibly p1615. It shows up on the onboard, but my obdii scanner says I dont have any codes.

Do I need a drivers side steering wheel air bag for the car to start? Do I have to use the resistors so it will start? If so what resistor is it? I have one that came with the nrg hub.
Thank you, I just want my car to start so I can go slide around!!

You shouldn't . Check ur fuses maybe u trip something during removal. The air bag light would not affect ur start up. Also check ur fuse box under the battery compartment.

Hmmm this just gets weirder. The only thing I can think of is I used that stupid sandwich grounding ring between the hub and quick release. Maybe I shouldn't have?

Update: my positive terminal is corroded to heck. I removed it when installing the wheel along with the negative. Could the corroded terminal be the cause?

Its good to go now, car still won't start. I even put in the proper resistors for the air bag, which turned off the airbag light. This is ********!

Try disconnect the battery for a few minute and then start the car maybe BBS350z is right your battery might be dead too. Try to sand your terminal so there is contact. The ring btw your hub and quick release serve as a ground for your horn to work I have it on mine no problem. Did you check the fuse box under your battery and yes you would have to remove your battery to check it. It happened to me yrs ago my reverse fuse blew and my z won't start towed to the mechanic and he found it was just the fuse.

I gave up. Battery was good, im towing it to a local tuner to eliminate all of the Nats stuff since that's what code it's throwing.

Also I left the battery disconnected overnight thinking it would clear this. It didn't. Thanks for everyone's help.

the only other thing i can think of is you messed with the NATS wiring where it doesnt detect the immobilizer chip in your key. but im not sure how you could have touched that stuff unless you forgot to plug something back you removed.

Na I didn't touch any nats wiring. The cars fixed, my fix was to eliminate every nats code as well as the global one.
