Intake Sensor - CAR WONT START
I was cleaning some things in my engine bay, which required me to remove the MAF sensor plug. Me being stupid, I forgot to plug it back in, and I tried starting the car, which obviously it didnt start. So I plug it back in, and try to start it again, but this time it still did not start. I did not touch anything else on the engine, so I am thinking that it is just a computer problem since I tried starting it without the sensor, and that resetting it by removing the (-) on the battery will fix it. Any ideas what else could be the solution, while I am waiting a while before connecting the battery and trying again?

Thanks, I figured out what the problem was. Apparently the car is supposed to start regardless of the MAF sensor plugged in, because the ECU will resort to using a default air setting so that the air/fuel mix isnt screwed up. Basically it would be running blindly, not knowing how much air it is really receiving. Anyways, since that could not be the cause of the problem, I though back to what else i had removed...It was a single wire that I had thought to be a ground wire, attached to the front of the timing chain housing. I screwed it back on, and sure enough it started.

shame on me..
it's a ground

Sorry, I was in a rush because I needed to get somewhere soon. I needed help so I didn't bother searching the forum for answers or posting it in the correct one.
