Default Throw out bearing sleeve

Hey all, I recently experienced a bad throw out bearing. I took the tranny apart and replaced the bearing with a new oem one, but realized that the sleeve was f$cked up. Being a sunday all dealerships were closed and i couldnt leave the car apart because i was doing the repair at my dads work place. I put the tranny together and long and behold, few months later the bearing is starting to go again.... i bought a new sleeve and a new bearing, but my question is, is the sleeve pressed onto the input shaft?? What is the best way to get it off if it is?? I have already pressed the bearing onto the sleeve so that is not an issue, just worried about the sleeve and was wondering if anyone who has done this could help me out. Any help is appreciated.

Swapping out the old bearing for a new one was easy, but the sleeve was so worn out that the bearing just slipped on... the biggest pain is separating the tranny but thats just time, not really hard... I have to do it again to change the sleeve.... Make sure you have the parts you need before you start so you dont have to do it twice like me... if your bearing is spinning on the sleeve (you have a screaching noise when not on the clutch) then you need to change the bearing and the sleeve.....

I want to know if its hard to get the old sleeve off....

So for any of those who are wondering, and for any of those in the future that will be doing this job, the sleeve is very simple to take off and put on.... just gotta make sure u get the snap ring to sit in the fork properly. Pressing the bearing onto the sleeve is a PITA if you dont have a press or a vice. Just take your time as to not ruin the bearing. Good luck to anyone who is attempting this, just give yourself some time to do it.
