Hey everyone,

So my check engine light is on in my 03. I got the codes read and it came up with IAT (intake air temp) sensor and Power steering pressure sensor. Now talking to the Nissan tech guys at my local dealership they said the IAT sensor is part of the MAF sensor, so i just bought some cleaner cleaned it up really well. Not sure if that is correct, if not someone please enlighten me. Now for the power steering pressure sensor I have talked to the tech guys and they all said that it rarely goes out. So I was wondering if there is anyway to diagnose the issue or determine if it truly is bad ( I asked the the Nissan tech guys and of course they just said bring it in and they would do it for $120....)

Also it is my understanding that this sensor controls the throttle during parked turning. Is this all it does or does it have another function as well?

I didn't have a chance to look at my car at all last night I plan to check it out tonight. I will post up anything I find.
