Default 2003 Z High-Pitched noise when accelerating

I just bought a 2003 350z base with 86,000 miles and have a high-pitched noise only upon acceleration. I can hear it in all gears and in neutral when I'm stopped. Could this be a vacuum leak or...? I'd appreciate any help. thanks

Is there any way you could record it on video (or at least audio)?

Does it sound like a whistling noise? My pop charger intake whistles pretty loudly when at 50-75% throttle regardless of RPM.

Without a better description than "high-pitched noise", its going to be hard for me to do any better than that.

vacuum leak, usually on the plenum, espec if its aftermarket.. car idling... spray some carb cleaner around the plenum.. if theres ANY change in RPM, its a vacuum leak.. my Kinetix V composite plenum did this in the hot summers.. it was LOOOOUD.

the car is all stock, I tried to get a video of it but it wouldn't come out. I'm thinking its a vacuum leak. I'll tear it apart tomorrow and let you guys know. any ideas on which tubes to check first?

The easiest one to miss is the one that attaches to the bottom of the intake tube. Very common mistake.
