Default Front end noise... bearing or beyond?

After getting this noise my research led me to believe that my front wheel bearing was shot, the noise is spot on to what a bearing might sound like when going out but still have a noise going on.... whats next?

It sounds like passenger side, most noticeable while coasting 35-50mph, can hear it down it around 10mph
It doesnt sound like a scrape, not going to rule it out though, it sounds like a bearing problem but now with new front bearings it still does (old ones still feel ok)

While accelerating i cant really hear anything, almost like when the weight is transferred it goes away but then with coasting it gets noticeable, using the brakes really doesn't amplify or decrease the noise that i can conclude

Im almost tempted to blame the brake rotor, but i have no vibrations while braking, plenty of pad, but it could be warped
or???? any suggestions?

*replaced both wheel bearings
*tried using other set of wheels with no change (rules out wheel or tires hopefully)
*visual inspections of bushings and struts with no leaks/tears visible

Thank you

im having exact same problem.. have replace both front bearing already, got brand new pilot super sport tires ready to go on, waiting on front camber kit to install them.. also got brand new pilot sport ps2 rears and my rear camber kit came in today.. so im goin for a perfect alignment then go from there... $$$ not an option for me on this noise, so i will figure it out..

i also have brand new rotors, bough tbrand new set of work ts1 wheels, so i seem to be same boat u r in

if alignment on new tires dont fix it, my next step is coilovers... old lady, like n 60s told me she had a problem like that in 1 of her old chevelles like 600 hp back n the day and the problem was a bent strut...

btw if i turn my wheels to the right pretty far the noise goes away.. 100%.. ive been to 3 diff stealerships when i was under warranty and they had no clue.. blamed it on my wheels hence my new work ts1s..which didnt work, lol and this is my 3rd g35 so i know them very well... i will have everything installed,(camber kits and new tires) next week or 2 and let u know if it helps...

i do bodywork/paint to and even checked to make sure my frame was straight.. which it was perfect n spec

always baby this g, its way more show than go.. motor stock and over 10k in body kit and wheels.. lol last g had vortech

noise was there when i bought the car with 26k miles on it... figured it was the bearing and cheap tires they had on it.. also i live n florida and flew to arizona to buy the car, so at first i thought it was the roads n arizona that sounded like that.. front rotors were shot when i bought it.. i have powerslot rotors and hawk ceramic pads now... i usually only buy the best of the best when i need to replace something or mod something.. my g is my kid and my wife doesnt mind to much.. lol

Noticing any excessive feathering on your front tires? I thought mine was bearing issues at first, too. Turns out it was that my LCA bushings were shot, causing the tires to feather. This problem isn't just in the Z's, it goes for the G's as well.

I replaced my inner lower control arm bushings with Whiteline bushings, and this mostly eliminated my feathering issue. I'm still getting some roaring, though, on the passenger's side, especially when turning left at high speeds, so my next step is to try compression rod bushings.

If y'all are interested, follow my thread here. I'll keep it updated as I go, though it may be a while until I can actually invest in new bushings.

Having the same noise. I thought it was a bearing but lifted the cars and tires dont shake and there is no noticable play in the wheel. I will also say that I have an issue when I take an exit only going right.... MY ABS lights kick on and my brakes kick in on me with out me breaking.

Anybody have a clue? I do see the lower control arm bushing is a little shot would this cause this?

I will also add, that when first starting my car in the morning and turning my steering wheel i get a nice little clunk.

My noise has progressed since i made the thread, now that it is more pronounced i might actually have a bearing problem but in the rear or i have a bigger issue, i ordered some rear bearings so i guess the Z will get new bearings all the way around.

This thread is looking good, all kinds of different things going on for everyone, hopefully we can all get nice and smooth/quiet soon, and help others for future reference

RedbullRR- I would replace it and see if it fixes it since it needs to be done, otherwise check the steering rack and tie rod ends, nothing bent right?

I feel vibration! I have a 04 Track w/ Eibach springs & 19' Volk. Started getting noise and noticed tires wearing on the inside. I swapped tires and had an alignment done. Still had noise. Looked underneath and noticed that my passenger inner tie rod was bad. Swapped, noise quiets, but still there. Got louder a week later. Ordered new bearings & swapped. Noise is still there. I feel it/hear it starting at 10 MPH. Sounds like a warped sound (wom wom wom) and get louder & faster as I go faster and loud when I brake (noise also slows down). I have plans to swap out rotors/brakes, struts, & new springs (going Tein H), but would like to get this figured out first. I am currently in Minot, ND and don't have a shop I can go to and have this looked at. I've been searching for a solution, but most people seem to drop out of the thread and I've never seen a response with a fix. Any ideas?

I have an 03 with around 21,000 miles and am experincing the same issue. Sound is from around 15 mph to whatever. It seems to be getting worse as I just started hearing it at the end of last summer and by now is very noticable when driving. Does anybody have a fix for this, before I go the same route as other people and waste money on parts that are not going to fix the problem?

Yours is feathering noise. Check the tires or swap sides.

Yours sounds like feathering too. I had feathering on the inside of my tires so I swapped them, now its on the outside. Now when I take a corner at freeway speed (only to the right) it feels like the brakes grab and the SLIP light comes on.

I am almost entirely sure you have feathering on the outer edge of your tires. Just run your hand over the tread to check.
