Default Before i take a hammer to this car, please help me!

ugh, well here it is.
I have been trying to replace my rear right side wheelbearing hub assembly for the past three days now, the axle nut WILL NOT BUDGE!! I got it to break loose and it turned maybe a turn and a half and then stopped, now it wont go either way, i have broken 3 craftsmen socket wrenches (thank god for LTW) I took a compact torch to it to heat it up, and just the sheer man power i have put into it but the thing WILL NOT BUDGE, I even went and got a compressor (not high impact so that didnt help.) NOTHING i do will make this thing budge, and i cant take the car to a shop because since it did turn twice the wheel wobbles now.

please give me some words of advice here guys, im really starting to run low on patience.

thanks in advance.

i recently had a tough time with one of the cat bolts, but that stripped.

have you tried soaking it in pb blaster and torching it while using a big breaker bar and cheater bar?

an impact gun can only do so much. you're not going to get the action of one constant and strong leverage with an impact gun as you would with a bar. just saying.

good luck.

we tried EVERYTHING you can possibly think of, my mechanic said the only thing left is to replace the axle, or try cutting off the bolt and hope we don't damage the threads and the axle too much and rethread it.

we've heated it up, used a breaker bar, cheater bar, broke 3 craftsmen socket wrenches, i mean everything you can possibly think of has been done,

wish me luck on cutting it off today guys (ima need it)

well, cutting the nut off was a fail, the mechanic said that before he even attempts to do that, i need to buy a new axle because chances are greater that he will fail and damage the threads on the axle, so he didnt even want to attempt it, i ordered a new axle and waiting on that to come in and get it swapped out.

jesus, mary n joseph i never thought one axle nut could bring so much stress and time consumption.
but hopefully the axle will be here within the next couple of days and the car will be back up and running, im sick of driving my sisters rogue lol
