Oil seeping out from bottom of VTC solenoid

Oil seeping out from bottom of VTC solenoid

Should a gasket change be in order or is it safe to saw the solenoid is toast?

It's probably the gasket. The bottom of the solenoid valve is a smooth machined surface. Those gaskets also leak if reused
