hello guys
this morning getting out of the car my window is stuck up so i can shut the driver's door due to the auto seal function.
thinking that it might be the switch pack i tried to lower it with the key fob function without any luck. then my passerger window got stuck down!
the passerger side has been getting prgressively slower so i think the motor was going out.
my question are:
much oblige to anyone that can help with some info

my question are:
- where can i find a lower cost remanufacture or non-oem replacement motor
- do i need to replace the regulator too? im not sure if that is the problem
- total cost if install it myself
much oblige to anyone that can help with some info

I got one refurbished for 150$ at advance auto parts with lifetime warranty. So i dont have to worry about paying for another oh yeah i had to bring my old one to get a discount. It should just be your window motor its pretty easy to change just follow the diy.

Don't replace it. Do this: https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...-be-fixed.html
Took me a while, yeah, but the window will work forever now.

wow... getting in to the gutz of it!
im not sure if i have the time to dismantle it these days since i have a family and all now.
the easiest thing would go buy a pair of them from autozone for $300 and give em my units as a core.
how long does it take to swap out each motor? do u need to disconnect the battery? reason i ask is i have an eclipse head unit and everytime i disconnect the battery i have to call some outfit out in california reset the security code which is another PITA. ive already done this twice and they charged $20!
many thanks for link

It takes about 2-3 hours to swap a motor unless you've done it before. You do not need to disconnect the battery. If you get a reman unit from Autozone, they are going to fail quickly. They either use worn down factory brushes or they put in "new" crappy ones. I've heard of people going through 3 Autozone motors. I paid $14 shipped for my performance brushes and they will outlive the car. I understand not having the time, though.
